White Faced Cow Approaches

Hello All,
It sure was a HOT day here in Virginia. It seems like in the "old" days it didn't get this hot until August. Luckily we have air conditioning and as long as you were pretty sedentary, it wasn't to bad. I spent the day painting. Yesterday I worked on a newsletter all day and took a break from painting. I have been getting a lot of good response from people about the dogs I have been doing. I do commissioned pet portraits and this time of year is a good time to have one done as it gets crazy around the holidays. Pansies In Sunlight

This was a great week with my cousin visiting from Ireland. She and my sister left yesterday to go back to Massachussets. I got busy in my studio again today and had a great painting day. Today's post is a 12 by 12 original oil on blue acrylic background. I have sold quite a few of these cows done on a solid blue acrylic background. I am excited to have my cousin Pauline visiting from Ireland. We just had dinner together along with my sister who brought her down from Massachussets where she lives. We are headed to the beach tomorrow after I spend the morning shipping paintings and working on a couple of pieces in my studio. I have a large floral which is a close up of pansies and another of gladiolas that will probably be on the agenda. It has been fun seeing so many paintings on the daily painters site. Red Cow Approaches

Hello All,
Hope you had a good weekend. The weather here in Virginia was beautiful. I spent most of my time painting as my cousin and sister are going to be here visiting this week. My cousin is from Ireland and is here for two weeks holiday and we plan some outings to Williamsburg and the Outer Banks. I still plan to post each evening.
