Norma Wilson Original Acrylic Fruit Watermelon Slice

Today's post is a 6" by 8" original acrylic on canvas board. It is currently on auction on eBay.

This piece was done on Friday when I taught at Harbor's Edge Retirement Community. One of the ladies asked me to stay late and suggested I do a quick study of the watermelon that some had worked on that day. I really enjoyed chatting with her and relaxing after class. I also learned that my commute home was much better at that time as most of the rush hour has passed. I think I will do this again next week! Hope you weekend has been a good one. I have felt a bit "off" and plan to get busy in the morning starting with a good long walk to clear my head! Take care!
