Time to make lemonade!  This piece was our monthly paint along in my oil class and I really love

the strong contrast of lights and darks.  It was fun taking a break from my series to celebrate

summer and all things lemon.

Today started pretty slowly with lots of time spent on my laptop doing some marketing and gathering painting ideas and I finally got up to my studio this evening to begin this still life in my studio. I think I needed some down time after teaching yesterday and doing Danna Crawford's Blogtalk radio last night.
