Buffalo

Buffalo is a large, 24 by 24, original oil with beautiful rustic colors contrasting with a green background. After a wonderful weekend away in Harrisonburg, Virginia, watching my eldest son graduate from James Madison University, I came home and had a relaxing evening painting this majestic creature. I didn't see any buffalo while away but did see two beautiful deer along the side of the road in the morning light. I would have loved to have been able to photograph them so as to be able to paint them in my studio.
