Norma Wilson Original Oil Red Fox

Hello All,
I am late posting today. It is Sunday and half the day is gone. Last night was spent with friends who were giving one of our friends a send off as she is accompanying her new husband on a three year tour to Okinawa. I know she will be home for visits but I am sad to see her leave.
Yesterday was spent working on this fox in a newly organized studio space It was a pleasure to feel uncluttered and to work on such a large canvas...large for me anyway. This piece is a 24 by 30 which began with a blue acrylic undercoat which today you can see it has kind of a blue glow peeking through the oil painting. I like to tone my canvases before I begin and usually begin with a red undertone but this one had a pretty cerrulean blue base. This piece will require framing as the sides have staples.
