Every once in a while I find a little nuthatch or wren on my screened porch when I have left the doors open to let the dogs come and go but today I found a beautiful blue jay paying a visit. We finally got it out and back to it's home in the trees but I really got to see one up close for the first time. They really are lovely and have such pretty markings.
