Albert Schweitzer

At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.

Holiday Gratitude
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop and visit my blog.  I don't have a painting to share today but thought I would share a picture of one of my studen't at Harbor's Edge where I teach on Friday's.  Actually I receive far more than I ever give from this class.  The ladies are so talented and have lived such interesting lives and continue to learn and grow and be engaged in life every day.  This time of year can be very stressful and sad some years.  We are reminded of Christmas' past and those who are no longer with us.  This is my first year without my Mom and I am really missing the
sound of her voice on the phone.  The ladies at Harbor's Edge brighten my week and I always look forward to seeing them.  I am so grateful to my friend who referred me to them and gave me the opportunity to work with them.  Hope you have a day filled with love and people who brighten your day!
