Norma Wilson Original Oil Sunset Seascape Art

Day Is Done
$295

8" by 16" original oil on wrap around canvas with sides painted.
How many times have you stopped what you are doing and watched the sunset at night or gotten up in the morning to see it rise?  I know I sure haven't watched enough, considering that they are incredibly majestic.  I think the people who live close to the land without so much technology and stuff to distract them must have felt more close to God just by viewing nature in all its majesty.  I am lucky enough to live with a man made body of water behind my house and love to see the geese coming and going and the sun glistening on the water.  I thoroughly enjoyed working on this piece while spending time with my friends
Barbara Lively Mastaglio and Scott London.  Both work more on landscapes and encouraged me to try this piece and it was so much fun with their enouragement and input.
Last night I attended the opening of the Artists Gallery Show, One Foot Squared, and was happy to have four of my paintings in the show.  It was a great show and so good to catch up with people that I hadn't seen in a very long time.  I got started at the Artist Gallery  almost ten years ago with my first studio space and learned so much from the art world from the very generous guidance of the director and fellow artists.  The show will be up through the end of the month so I hope you will stop in and see it!
