Balancing Act

Balancing Act
6" by 6" original oil on panel
125.

Ever wonder how birds are able to balance their puffy little bodies on those tee tiny little legs?  They look like they are walking a tight rope!  I am not sure of the breed of this bird but she sure is pretty.  Had a wonderful time painting her and getting to know her.  I have really been busy the last two days in my studio with four new painting finished.  A couple I had started last week.
I found a really neat list on one of my favorite artists blogs, Roisin O'Farrel.  We are friends on Facebook and I am going to add a link to her site.  I love her wonderful paintings of the interiors of beautiful old homes in Ireland.

My favorite three are 5, 14, and 25...how 'bout you?  Contact me with any questions at normasart@cox.net.

I love this painting and also R. O'Farrell. I have been following her for quite awhile, and I love her interior paintings especially the wellies. Wish I could be in Norfolk on Sat. afternoon for Roxanne's demo. Know it will be good.
