What a joy filled painting day I have had today! I began this painting with no drawing...just a coat of turquoise acrylic paint and some red thrown in for good measure. Then I began finding the shapes using oil and looking for values and tones. I worked to break up my edges and used a large brush, palette knife and even my fingers! WOW....it doesn't get any better than allowing yourself to loosen up and play in paints with some great music to dance to while at play!
