Tonight's post is a new size and painting surface for me. I decided to do a summer series on archival mat board that has been gessoed several times. I enjoy the look of oil on paper. I love the texture and how it looks with a mat surrounding the image. It is a fun surfact to paint on and I chose 5" by 5" because it is a bit smaller than most of mine and can be matted up to an 11 by 14.
