Journey's End

8" by 8" original oil on panel

$195

Yeah...it's the weekend!  Not sure why I enjoy the weekends so much.  I work at home and pretty much do a lot of the same things but it just has a different, more laid back feel on the weekend.  Today was a great Friday painting with my friend Scott who owns a gallery in Ghent. His gallery is so beautiful!   I worked on this boat while he was working on some coy fish.  I love palette knives!!  I switched up and worked on panel instead of canvas and I liked the how the paint applied on the harder surface.  I plan to continue using the boards.  I am also going to be offering table top easels with my smaller pieces in the coming weeks.  I am waiting on my order.  Afterwards, I headed over to Harbor's Edge for class with the ladies.  It was SO windy by the water.  I think March winds came way early this year. Well...have an awesome weekend!  I love all your comments and emails!

That little boat is so charming! I chose your painting as my favorite daily painting on my blog, rosaspicks.wordpress.com. I hope you'll come by and check it out! Thanks, Rosa
