On The Go!
6" by 6" original oil on panel
Available through London Square Gallery
This bird was spotted on a trip to the Outer Banks last year and I decided to do a little painting of him using a palette knife and complimentary colors! I felt a little like a shore bird today zinging all over the place...lots of errands and a trip to my favorite store...Jerry's Artarama. I never tire of looking at wonderful full tubes of paint and so many colors! I guess it is how some people feel like about Home Depot. Even though I was on the go most of the day and not in my studio, I still feel a great deal of accomplishment. My refrigerator is full and I got a deal on a hydrangea plant. I am sure some of the flowers will make their way into my paintings. And I got to see Oprah's last show. Wow, can't believe how many years she has been on the air and how many lives she has influenced. It was a good show. Well, thanks so much for taking the time to check in with me.
