This is a scene from a trip to Ireland years ago when my children were small.  I was anxious to have them visit the land where their Granny grew up.  We were walking down a road near my cousin's
house and came to a bend and saw this beautiful scene.  I took this picture tonight as I had just completed the painting and wanted to get it posted for day five in the challenge.  The picture if not very good so I will replace it tomorrow.  Have a wonderful Thursday!

What a beautiful painting!!

This brings back memories of taking our daughter to County Mayo to visit the birthplace of her great-grandfather. What I remember most about the Irish landscape is the expansive skies, the subtle (& not so subtle greens), and those stone walls. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

You are welcome Chris! Painting it did the same for me. Hopefully we will both have another opportunity to visit the Ireland soon!
