With Her Head Held High
$225
8" by 10" original oil on wrap around canvas with sides painted.
Well, the M. GRAHAM oils have been a little slower to dry and don't handle the same way. They are definitely more oily, especially the titanium white but I am getting better at knowing how much of the walnut allkyd to use. I like the richness of the pigment as well. I liked the pose and viewing angle on the Irish cow. She seemed very proud and determined as any good Irishman or cow should be! I am also working on a female cardinal and hope to start another tomorrow...perhaps a scene from this area of the south. Have a wonderful Thursday!

I love her colors and your big bold brush strokes...
she's a beauty!- I think I recognize this one, too (there were a couple of them with some 'real attitoooode' in that field next to Barbara's!).
