Thirty Paintings In Thirty Days! - Day Five!

Brief Exchange

5" by 7" original oil on panel

SOLD

I love to watch birds as they seem to busy along the water's edge.  There seemed to be a brief meeting going on here.  It was that magic hour when the sun begins to lower and casts a strong glow on everything.  It's the best time to walk along and take in the sights and sounds of the beach.

I am having a great time painting for the challenge of thirty paintings in thirty days.  Never quite know what the next day may bring!  Have a wonderful day and hope to see you again soon!

Thirty Paintings In Thirty Days! #22

Chewy

6" by 6" original oil on canvas

150.

This sweet little girl was surrendered at a vet's office by an owner who no longer wanted her and one of the employees fell instantly in love with her and welcomed her with open arms.  She spent many years coming to work every day and sleeping cozily curled around her "Mom's" back while she worked.  I just loved her little face and had a great time capturing it in oil.

"We do not remember days, we remember moments." ~Casare Pavese

So many wonderful things about this time of year....like longer daylight hours and signs of spring!  It hasn't been felt as much in temperature this
year but here in Virginia we are beginning to see the blooms on the trees, the
daffodils in bloom, and I always get a sense that the birds are feeling the excitement!  They seem to be chirping more!  Here at the beach, people are
coming to the ocean with their dogs even more and brining the little ones out
in strollers.  Hope your days are full of signs of spring and rebirth!  Thank you
for stopping by to visit my blog!
