Evening Stroll Seagull On The Move

Evening Stroll
5" by 7" original oil on panel
150.

Remember when you would have a sick day from school and feel guilty that you were not at school?  Perhaps not everyone felt that way but I sure did.  Even though I was not feeling well, and my Mom would send in a note, I didn't feel right until I gave my note to the teacher.  Well, after posting to my blog for 150 days straight and then taking a few days off...I felt a little guilty.  But I really was busy doing very creative stuff!  With help from my friend, Claudia Finn, I organized my studio and purged yet again!  I am living in about a third the space I had before so I really have to make use of every square inch!  I painted a foot stool white and covered it in burlap, painted the furniture white, even painted the containers I keep my brushes in white and made some burlap curtains for over my open storage units.  I am ready for action again!  Here are some pictures.

I have my eye on the black rolling chair...I think it needs a coat of fabric
spray paint!  White of course!

Decided to hang the blackboard in the kitchen without a frame for now.
A friend asked if I needed to remind myself to feed my dog Bailee.  I
had forgotten to feed her in spite of having it on my board!  Poor Bailee.
It was only about an hour overdue. :-(

Hope you have a fantastic Monday!  I will be back at my easel tomorrow refreshed and ready to get busy!

Thank you Roxanne! It has only taken four purges to really get this space where I can manage. It was so cluttered last week that I am covered in bruises from walking into stuff! Pain is a great motivator! :-)

Hi Delilah! I had help from a friend to really organize by tasks and get rid of stuff I don't use. Now the key will be to keep it this way! :-) Glad you like your painting!

Seriously - between you & Dreama's studio makeovers- I can't wait to get home from visiting my mom to continue the great studio purge! I just LOVE how your whole place looks!!
