This scene reminds me of the beaches we saw out in California when we lived in San Diego and also up in Rhode Island. This piece was so much fun to paint. I am enjoying these coastal scenes. Yesterday my nephew and I took a walk along the boardwalk here in Virginia Beach and the weather was gorgeous! It was hard to believe that mother nature was playing havoc to our south!
