Norma Wilson Original Oil Black Capped Chickadee Bird Art Aviary Portrait Painting

Black Capped Chickadee

SOLD

© Norma Wilson, original oil on canvas 5" by 7"

Loved this combination of black and white on red. I am a sucker for red. Hope your week is going well. I am enjoying all my time spent painting in my new studio. Here is a photo of what it is looking like so far. I need shelves to hang wet paintings and an area rug to take the place of the blue sheet! But I love it. So many memories of my sons down the hall and dogs coming and going.
Lots of room now for their visits and new memories!

Norma Wilson Original Oil Brown Cow Aglow Art

18" by 24" original oil on wrap around canvas with sides painted.

This piece is now in my store at http://www.normasfineart.com/. I loved the intense expression on this cow's face and the way the light made her glow.

Today was such a busy day! I got down to my new studio by 10:00 after walking Bailee and then racing around my house trying to organize what I needed to take with me. The electricity was not working so my painting was a bit of a challenge. Then my friends, Roxanne, her daughters, and Barbara met me for lunch at a really wonderful restaurant in Portsmouth called Cafe Europa. We ate outside which was so nice with the spring breeze. Afterwards I returned to paint a bit and then headed to Suffolk for Andrew's soccer game. Since then I have been painting and photographing paintings and contacting clients about paintings they are interested in buying. Whew! Now it is time to go to bed and start over tomorrow. I am so grateful to be doing what I love! Tomorrow night is First Friday in Portsmouth so if you live nearby, stop by and see me at Olde Towne Art Studios next to the bakery!

Norma Wilson Original Oil Baltimore Oriole Bird Art

6" by 8" original oil on wrap around canvas

Today's post is another in my new bird series. I love the colors of this bird and its strong contrasts. Today was a busy day working on taxes as the year draws to a close. I am trying to get a head start on gathering all of my information for my business this past year. Hope your holidays are going well. I have been enjoying all the fun around the house. My son got a George Foreman Grill for Christmas and we have been enjoying some delicous dinners with meat from Omaha Steaks. Tonight I marinated some chicken breasts and was saving some on the counter for my son to come home from playing indoor soccer. When he returned we discovered that his black lab, Brewsky, had eaten it....as well as the cat's dinner! He is sleeping well now. Sean had ramen soup. The cat is not happy. Thanks for stopping by!Click to Bid!
