Thirty Paintings In Thirty Days! - Day Fifteen

Momma Bear

24" by 30" gallery wrap

1875.

For me, this was a large painting and I began it in class this evening as a demonstration and was able to finish it in time to get it posted tonight.  I loved every minute of painting it and can't wait to paint more larger pieces.  It will be going to one of my galleries in the coming weeks unless you must have it!  Just don't wait because they are wanting some larger works from me.  Hope your week is going great!  I will take a better picture of this tomorrow in daylight and there shouldn't be as much glare on it.  Several of my smaller works from this challenge are going into a show and I will be dropping them off tomorrow.  What a busy week but as stressful as this can be at times...I am getting some painting done!  That's for sure.

Thirty Paintings In Thirty Days! - Day Thirteen

Big Bear!

6" by 6" original oil on panel

150.

I am never quite sure what the next day will bring.  I teach all day tomorrow so I may be doing a baseball card size painting tomorrow...perhaps a cow!  This can get pretty intense when you don't paint more than one on quite a few days.  But it is good discipline!  I even worked out which is my other discipline that I am developing.  Thanks so much for checking with me!  Have a great day!

Thirty Paintings In Thirty Days! - Day Eleven

Roger Rabbit

6" by 6" original oil on panel

150.

I started this little guy yesterday with the hopes of finishing him all in one sitting.  It was late when I started so when it was clear, things were not going my way, I began to panic.  I played a piece of computer paper over it to absorb some of the paint.  It kind of leaves a ghost of an image and began working on another painting.  Today, not feeling too excited to get back to 'ol Roger, I sat down and within minutes I had it going again and knew I would finish without a problem.  Not sure what was up yesterday, but I am glad I didn't give up on him.  I am really tickled with him today!  Guess life is like that.  The forces were with me today.  :-)  May the forces be with you this weekend!
